We are looking for a number of permanent and temporary full time Workforce and Recruitment Officer to join our amazing HR Support Services Team to build effective relationships and provide integral support within NSW Health Pathology, statewide.

What you'll be doing
Responsible for a diverse range of workforce and recruitment functions, as well as the provision of support and advisory services to users of workforce operations functions including, but not limited to, StaffLink, ROB, PAT, SARA and ClinConnect
Liaise and work effectively with internal/external stakeholders to facilitate a high quality, best practice, customer focused, value adding and comprehensive HR service

Recent practical work experience in a client focused workforce/recruitment environment with relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent work experience.
Demonstrated experience in Workforce Support/HRIS functions with an understanding of electronic systems and the ability to support stakeholders.
Demonstrated understanding and/or capacity to interpret and apply NSW Health awards, agreements, policies and procedures.
Proven effective communication and customer service skills with the ability to use initiative and sound judgement whilst maintaining confidentiality.
Evidence as an effective team player with a capacity to be flexible, motivated and responsive with the ability to seamlessly adapt to meet changing priorities and demands.
Demonstrated capacity to work in a high volume environment with competing priorities to meet strict deadlines, whilst continuously seeking ways to improve service delivery.

Occupational Assessment, Screening and Vaccination Against Specified Infectious Diseases
All NSW Health workers are required to have completed a primary course of a COVID-19 vaccine which has been approved or recognised by the Therapeutics Goods Administration (TGA). Additionally, Category A workers are required to receive a booster dose three months after completing the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations. New applicants must have completed the vaccination course prior to commencement with NSW Health, or provide an approved medical contraindication certificate (IM011 immunisation medical exemption form) certifying the worker cannot have any approved COVID-19 vaccines available in NSW.
Acceptable proof of vaccination is the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement or AIR COVID-19 Digital Certificate. Booster doses are highly recommended for all health care workers who have completed the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations.

This position is a permanent position. To be eligible for permanent appointment to a position in NSW Health, you must have an Australian citizenship or permanent Australian residency. Please note: A person who is not an Australian citizen or a permanent resident is only eligible for temporary employment for a period not longer than the duration of their current visa.
