Position Overview:
Looking for a start in the construction industry? Join our team as a Casual Yardperson and play a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency and safety onsite at our Raeburn Batch Plant, Launceston. As a key member of our operations, you'll be responsible for ensuring that the site is kept in a safe, clean condition, adhering to high standards of cleanliness and functionality.
Responsibilities:
Perform Basic Yard Duties associated with Concrete Batch Plant operation at various sites
Clean Yard equipment as required
Willingness to learn FEL Operation for the Batch Plant
Basic labouring tasks associated with Ready-Mix concrete production
Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures.
Collaborate with other team members to ensure a cohesive and productive work environment.
Willingness to lean all aspects of concrete production and Transportation in time
Qualifications:
HR truck licence desirable – training can be provided to the right candidate with a positive attitude
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety protocols.
Dedication to "Safety 1st Always Works" culture.
Physical fitness and ability to handle manual tasks.
Ability to operate cleaning machinery such as pressure washers and industrial vacuums.
Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering high-quality work.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Positive attitude and willingness to take on additional responsibilities.
