AHP2 Working as a part of the integrated multi-disciplinary team of community mental health service, the - Youth Clinician, undertakes care coordination for consumers of an integrated team up to age 24. They are responsible for the delivery of a range of other clinical activities, including care planning, clinical review, psychosocial and discipline specific assessment and interventions and Mental Health Assessments as pertaining within the Clinical Business Rules.

RN2C The CN provides mental health nursing care in a variety of settings across the MHD. The CN’s practice has been consolidated by experience and/or further study. CNs are expected to demonstrate ongoing practice development from competent to proficient practitioners. The CN accepts accountability for their own practice standards, activities delegated to others and the guidance and development of less experienced staff. The CN role is predominantly clinical in nature; however CNs may be assigned appropriate portfolios consistent with their career development plan and MHD priorities. CNs may be required to be involved in clinical teaching and/or research; wider or external work on complex or MHD wide projects such as clinical protocols, guidelines and/or process mapping and/or specific activity and/or portfolio responsibility.
