Frontline Human Resources are recruiting a number of 1st, 2nd, 3rd or 4th Year Plumbing/Gas Fitting Apprentices seeking to commence or continue their Apprenticeship! All roles are based across Melbourne.
You will work with a number of Host Employers gaining a wide range of Plumbing/Gas Fitting training, providing you with the best opportunity to get the most out of your Apprenticeship! You will work full time whilst completing a ‘Certificate III in Plumbing’.
Responsibilities:
- Ability to work to OH&S regulations
- Roughing in water and gas
- Lockups including roof work
- Downpipes installation
- Fitting off fixtures and appliances
- Sewer and storm water drains, pits, retention systems, basement drainage etc
The purposes of this position are to:
- Perform the installation and maintenance of company owned and customer LP Gas equipment, in accordance with statutory requirements and company procedures, to ensure asset integrity of all equipment within the area of control
- Provide gas fitting service within customer sites including Major Hazardous Facilities
- Provide & meet the operational requirements (either by shift patterns or annualised hours which can be re-defined and changed to suit business and market needs)
- Follow the work systems developed to ensure efficiency in both time and productivity without compromising safety of all stakeholders
- Work on new LP Gas installations on residential, commercial and industrial premises
- Provide best in class service levels to all customers both internally and externally i.e. appointments, job time frames, updates etc

Requirements:
- Current VIC Drivers Licence
- White Card
- Willing to undertake a Police Check and/or Medical
Apprentices will receive:
- Accredited RTO/TAFE training
- Receive ongoing mentoring and support
- Receive a weekly pay
