1st, 2nd,or 3rd Year Apprentice Refrigeration Mechanic

O’Connells Refrigeration and Airconditioning is a leader in the mechanical services field, covering all aspects of industrial, commercial, and domestic Airconditioning and refrigeration including beer systems and dairies, is now offering an opportunity for a hard-working, self-motivated, and most importantly, passionate individual to commence a Refrigeration Mechanic Apprenticeship. You will learn in a close-knit team from the very best the area has to offer!

The Role

The successful candidate will be trained in all aspects of air conditioning and refrigeration including:

• Working safely in the construction industry and carry out Workplace Health and Safety requirements
• Using air conditioning and refrigeration tools, electrical wiring, and other trade equipment
• Understanding drawings and specifications
• Identifying and handling various refrigerants
• Servicing and repairing cooling systems
• Installing and maintaining refrigeration and air conditioning piping and tubing, electrical apparatus, and circuits
• Maintaining documentation
• Sourcing and purchasing material/parts for installation or service jobs
• Providing quotations for installation or service jobs and to deliver a service to customers

This is a fantastic career-start opportunity to become trade qualified. As an apprentice, you will receive both on and off the job training working towards your Certificate III in Air-conditioning and Refrigeration.
