Full Time, Fixed Term Maternity Leave Cover
The Department of General Medicine has a Full Time, Fixed Term Maternity leave cover at 86 per fortnight from 18.03.2024 to 08.09.2024 for an Advanced Trainee.
The position is for those seeking to complete training requirements or seeking to undertake further training in General Medicine.
Reporting to the Head of Service in a structured training program, you will have the opportunity to rotate through services and subspecialty areas such as Neurology, Intensive Care, Cardiology, Infectious Diseases, Geriatrics, Respiratory, Palliative Care, Endocrinology, Rheumatology, Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, Albury Wodonga Health, Epworth Richmond, and Renal/Nephrology at Ballarat.
Each 12-month appointment includes a 4-week rotation through nights as the Medical Officer in Charge.
About you:
- Completed Basic Physician Training
- Strong supervision & leadership skills
- Extensive experience in providing professional supervisor and mentoring to junior medical staff
- You must hold General or Provisional Registration (Competent Authority Pathway)
