Requirements
  • MBBS or equivalent degree.
  • Currently hold AHPRA Registration or eligible to obtain
  • IMGs that have Completed the UK Foundation Programme
  • OTP/SIMGs that have been assessed by the RACP College as partially or substantially comparable (OTP currently interviewing with RACP may express their interest)
  • IMGs that have completed at least AMC MCQ (part 1) or both AMC 1 & 2
  • IMGs eligible via Competent Authority Pathway (NZ, UK, Canada, Ireland, USA)
  • Extensive experience working in General Medicine and eligible for registration with AHPRA
The PositionThis is an incredible opportunity to work as a General Medicine Registrar at one of Australia’s leading teaching tertiary hospitals.RACP accredited hospital for Advanced Training in General MedicineYou will be working as part of a traditional firm of doctors, including consultant, other registrars, medical officers and commonly interns too. The shift pattern depends on your rotation, but generally include a combination of days, evenings and nights over a 7-day week.The hospital is experienced at working with overseas trained registrars; therefore it is easy to comply with the AHPRA regulations and demonstrate supervision and monitoring in your placement.The hospital nurtures your career and offers many training opportunities and career progression.The LocationPretty as a post card, this charming, coastal city combines all the advantages of a modern city with a more relaxed and civilised pace of life.It boasts an incredible food and wine scene with local produce making the short journey from farm to table. It is accredited with RACP and works closely with the University of Tasmania and other institutions.
