Fellowships in our Department are for post-graduate Plastic Surgeons. Unfortunately we do not accept applications from surgeons who do not have a Plastic Surgery qualification. At the present time, the Craniofacial Fellowship is a 12-month clinical position oriented primarily towards Cranio-Maxillofacial surgery, although a full range of paediatric plastic surgery is covered within the Department. From a craniofacial standpoint the Unit averages approximately 70 transcranial cases per year. The number of primary cleft cases sits at around 60 per year. Part of the cleft program involves managing complex secondary cleft cases. Rhinoplasty is an integral part of the program also.

Our Craniofacial Fellows are also encouraged to complete a research project during their tenure with us. These are usually submitted for publication in a peer review journal.
