The Role:
An opportunity exists for an Unaccredited Registrar in Urology Surgery to join the team at Northern Health.
Urology Surgery at Northern Health provides elective and 24/7 emergency care for patients in the northern catchment of Melbourne. The role of the Urology NSET Registrar is to assist in the coordination of urological services at Northern Health.
The Urology Unaccredited Registrar works with and supervises the HMOs (PGY 1-4) assigned to the unit.The Urology Unaccredited Registrar will be involved with regular ward round, multidisciplinary team meetings, audit, teaching, research and unit on call which is generally one in three.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Medical registration with the Medical Board of Australia under the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA);
- Proven ability to work in a dynamic multidisciplinary team environment;
- A drive for continual learning and professional development; and
- Completion of at least 2 years post-graduate work in a tertiary hospital in Australia or equivalent
