We are looking for a 2nd or 3rd Year Sheet Metal fabricator to join our expanding Morisset based Team. JR Fabrications is looking for a suitably competent 2nd or 3rd Year apprentice in sheet metal fabrication with the opportunity to take on a team leader position once completed.
You will be expected to perform tasks in the area of specialised architectural fabrication & installations such as custom staircases, balustrades, window hoods, deco screens, glass balustrading and much more.
We have a fully equip professional workshop with the best equipment to allow our team to build a top-level, high-quality product.

- A knowledge and understanding of CNC machining processes & fabrication is essential.
- An ability to read and interpret production drawings.

- Strong understanding of “Best Practice” principles.

To be successful in the role you will have the following:
- Demonstrated experience in TIG/MIG welding both Aluminium, Stainless Steel and Mild steel.
- Be reliable with a good work ethic and good attendance record.
- Have own transport and MANUAL driver’s license.
- Be able to work with limited supervision in a workshop and on site.
- Bring and share knowledge and experience to the team.
- Forklift ticket is desirable but not essential.
