Blackwater
Located in the Bowen Basin of Central Queensland, BMA's Blackwater Mine is one of Queensland's largest coal mines. Job description:
We are currently seeking experienced Heavy Diesel / Digger Fitters interested in joining our team at Blackwater Mine. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for carrying out repairs and preventative maintenance on our fleet of excavator:
- 1 x Hitachi ex8000
- 3 x CAT 6060
- 1 x Hitachi ex3600
Profile description:
About You
- Relevant diesel fitter / heavy vehicle trade qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role
- Proven experience with 789 and 930E-4 Trucks along with 600 & 800T Caterpillar, Hitachi, & O&K Excavators
- High levels of initiative and the ability to work well under pressure
- Safety focus with a high attention to detail
- Excellent work planning and scheduling skills
- Current and valid drivers license
- Standard 11 would be advantageous
