Form of work4D Delta is Australia’s leading asset inspection company providing solutions to Engineers and Maintenance Professionals to reliably manage and maintain their assets. Based in Perth, 4D Delta was founded in 2014 with the purpose of creating new solutions to old industry problems through technology and innovation. Our clients are Tier 1 mining and minerals processing companies that operate in a range of jurisdictions, across a variety of commodities including Iron Ore, Alumina and Gold.

The Role(s)
These roles are being offered as Full time (80 hours/fortnight minimum) are predominately site based during periods of asset shutdown. Our role during these intensive campaigns is to partner with our clients to gather and process data on their assets using digital technology including 3D laser scanners and other leading edge digital instruments.
Working with 4D Delta will suit someone who has a thirst for learning and is genuinely excited by digital technology and its application. If you have experience with OR are interested in using the latest digital measurement technologies, we will train the successful applicant(s) in all technologies and in back-end data analysis processes.
To deliver excellence to our clients, we often work during shutdowns or slow production periods which will require the successful applicant/s to be available to work nights, weekends and public holidays if required, with penalty rates applying.
Working for 4D Delta is NOT a FIFO role. Typically, we are on site when we need to be, and out as soon as our part of the shutdown program is complete. The data gathered by the scanning team is then uploaded to the cloud and analysed by our experts in Perth, with results reported back to the client as soon as possible. This allows our clients to make critical maintenance and sustaining capital decisions in the best possible timeframe.
To be successful we are seeking candidates who:
- Have a strong desire to understand digital technology
- Are competent in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook Hold a minimum of C class manual driver’s licence
- Can travel to regional and potentially interstate client sites
- Have strong communication skills
- Can work autonomously and as an effective team member
- Are committed to safety and
- Have the ability to work to deadlines
It would be awesome if you had some:
- Experience working on mine sites and associated industries
- Practical experience with Laser Scanning technologies
- Tertiary or other recognised institution qualifications in Surveying, Spatial Sciences or Engineering
