Accessory Salesperson

TJM Caboolture has an opportunity for an additional salesperson to join our team. We are looking for a person who has a solid understanding of what it takes to deliver great customer service to our cliental and to be a valuable team member within the business.

It is critical in this role, to be able to listen to our customers and work with them to successfully complete vehicle fit outs that often can be the realisation of a life long dream and the doorway to a new life of adventure and touring for them.

We are looking for a new staff member who prides themselves in their ability to build relationships with customers by keeping their word, doing what they committed to and going the extra mile to ensure that once the job is finished the customer will be back again before the next trip. Our customers need our salespeople to be knowledgeable and enthusiastic about providing quality equipment solutions and delivering them as efficiently as possible.

  • have an understanding of the range of accessories available on the market currently for 4WD's.
  • are looking for a fulltime position which includes Saturday morning trade from 9-12.
  • have some 4WDing or touring experience within Australia.

Role Responsibilities

  • Answer sales calls and process emails from retail, trade and dealership customers in a timely and polite manner.
  • Complete quotations accurately and with a sense of urgency.
  • Attend to customers visiting our showroom.
  • Ensure that exceptional customer service standards are achieved and maintained.
  • Liase with the workshop to schedule bookings, ensuring that work is carried out in a timely manner to a high standard of workmanship, whilst maintaining the greatest respect for customer requirements and possessions.
  • Participate in the inventory control of the store, including annual stocktakes
  • Ensure the showroom is clean, well stocked, orderly and safe for staff and customers.
  • Maintain high standards of personal presentation and workspace cleanliness.
  • Work with the team to create a positive work environment for the benefit of all.

Experience/Qualifications

  • Sales skills preferably within the automotive industry including an energetic, enthusiastic attitude.
  • An excellent communicator.
  • Automotive industry knowledge or experience.
  • Great attention to detail.
  • Ability to plan, organise and be results oriented.
  • Current drivers license.
