Role Details:
- Position: 6-Wheel Tipper Driver
- Location: Katherine NT
- Start date: Immediate
- Duration: 3 months
- Roster: 3 weeks on, 1 week off | 12-hours a day
- Hourly rate: $42.13 per hour, with double time after 56 hours in a week
- Transport to and from Darwin provided each swing
- Accommodation and meals provided, staying at the Contour Hotel
- Weekly pay & superannuation
- Uniform requirements: Hard hat, shirt, shorts or long pants, boots
- Contribute to Civil and Infrastructure projects under the guidance of experienced professionals.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and procedures.
- Assist in maintaining equipment and tools.
- Uphold quality standards to meet project expectations.
- Operate the 6-wheel tipper truck to transport materials such as soil, gravel, sand, and other construction materials to and from various locations on the site.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials according to project schedules.
- Safely operate the tipper truck and ensure it is loaded and unloaded properly.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck, including checking tires, brakes, lights, and fluid levels.
- Report any mechanical issues or maintenance needs promptly to the supervisor.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and guidelines on the construction site.
- Wear and maintain all personal protective equipment (PPE) provided.
- Participate in safety meetings and training sessions as required.
- Ensure load limits are adhered to and properly secured to prevent accidents.

- Previous experience in civil construction or related field preferred.
- Strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
- Willingness to learn and adapt.
