Metro Trade Services Pty Ltd was founded in 2006 and provides General Maintenance and electrical services within commercial properties across Melbourne’s CBD and surrounding suburbs.
Our client base is expanding and we are looking for a professional, reliable and safety focussed tradesperson who can provide experienced electrical, data and General Maintenance services at our CBD locations. This permanent role would be suitable for someone who enjoys working in a corporate environment, communicates well with clients and can manage day to day tasks in a time critical manner.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- To comply to all relevant OH&S legislation and follow building specific procedures/policy and safety guidelines
- Install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, apparatus, and fixtures. Ensure that work is in accordance with relevant codes/standards
- Manage general repair and maintenance of base building and tenancy areas as required and to schedule
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks on a regular basis
- Management of consumables
- To keep organised accounts of tasks performed throughout the day
- To carry out other reasonable duties within the overall function of the job
- Ability to work overtime/weekends if required
- Role may be location based or mobile where vehicle would be provided.
Key Licenses/skills/status:
- ‘A’ grade unrestricted Electrical license (Victorian)
- Manual vehicle license
- Current OHS induction card (white card)
- Current Police check
- Australian Permanent resident
- Computer/Mobile device literate
- Punctuality
- Excellent communication and presentation
- Prior experience of commercial property real estate operations/infrastructure an advantage
