The Aboriginal andTorres Strait Islander Health Practitioner, Charleville Western Qld provides a range of clinical primary health care services to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander clients and communities including delivering specific health care programs, assessing and treating clients, maintaining health care systems and providing advice and support whilst under clinical supervision in order to contribute to better health outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
This role is an experienced practitioner role and requires the occupant to operate with a level of independence against a specific set of rules or procedures set by the health service provider/s.
This role may be required to provide second on-call (after hours) emergency services on a rotational basis.
