ROLE DESCRIPTION
The College is seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Aboriginal Teaching Assistant to provide class support to Aboriginal students, and to work with teachers to create resources.
The successful applicant will possess good technology skills, sound communication and demonstrate the ability to work with Aboriginal students with learning difficulties across all Learning Areas within the College. Aboriginal Teaching Assistants work in a team environment and embrace the diverse tasks required of this position.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS- Certificate III in Education Support (or working towards this)
- Current Working With Children Check
- Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Accreditation to work in a Catholic School (or willingness to obtain)
- First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
