The School provides pathway courses for prospective students to access award courses and provides ACADEMIC LEARNING support services to VET, undergraduate and postgraduate coursework students seeking assistance.
We are currently seeking a casual academic to be part of a team of advisers who provide academic communication skills support to students in both one-on-one and workshop situations. This adviser will work in the online space as well as on campus. CQUniversity offers three terms of enrolment per year and casual academic staff are contracted based on student enrolments each term.
Position Requirements- Relevant qualification/s at the level equivalent to or higher than the level to be delivered.
- Relevant experience teaching and/or working within the relevant field.
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.
- You will be expected to hold vaccinations in relation to the COVID-19 immunisation should your CQUniversity role require you to attend any setting / venue / event where there is a specific entry requirement for you hold these vaccinations, as per relevant State Government directives.
