LCI Melbourne, a globally recognised boutique institute of higher education in art, design and entrepreneurship, is seeking two talented individuals to join our team as academic staff for our innovative new Bachelor of Entrepreneurship (Creative Industries) undergraduate degree, and to lead our successful Fashion and Costume Design discipline area.

Academic Level C (Head of Entrepreneurship) and Academic Level C (Head of Fashion

About the Roles 

As an integral member of our academic team, you will contribute to the development and delivery of courses within Entrepreneurship or Fashion & Costume Design at undergraduate and graduate levels and contribute to the ongoing growth of learning and teaching and administrative functions. 

As an Academic Level C (Head of Entrepreneurship)/(Head of Fashion), you will provide significant leadership to the design and delivery of courses, high quality teaching, industry engagement, scholarship and support of the Institute and students via specified academic administration, teaching, and course coordination.

About You 

You will work as part of LCI Melbourne’s team of academic and administrative staff. You will possess proven educational, research and professional experience and demonstrated understanding of contemporary global trends in the field of Entrepreneurship or Fashion & Costume Design, and the ability to embed innovate approaches to teaching, learning and professional practice.  

Academic Level C (Head of Entrepreneurship)/(Head of Fashion): 

A qualification/s in a relevant discipline, ideally at doctoral degree level or equivalent substantive professional experience

Highly engaged industry experience in a senior professional or managerial role and demonstrated capacity to network and contribute to cultural and creative industry collaborations. 

Leadership in Higher Education with full course coordination experience of at least 5 years, or equivalent substantive professional experience managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, alignment with the values of LCI Education network, demonstrated ability to lead effectively and in collaboration within a teamwork environment and the capacity to oversee and manage academic teams. 

Demonstrated pedagogical leadership and a significant contribution to Higher Education learning and innovative teaching content, scholarship, course development and delivery in the education fields of for management and commerce and creative arts, or equivalent substantive professional experience

Outstanding leadership, organisational and administrative abilities required for coordination and administration of courses, and other required duties.
