What you'll be doing
The Seniors Assessment Services Administrative Officer (level 2A) is a Westmead Geriatric Medicine Department based role to provide administrative/ clerical support primarily to the Aged Care Assessment Team (ACAT) & Regional Assessment Service (RAS). While the role is primarily based in this area, the role does allow for temporary coverage in other domains of the Westmead Geriatric Medicine Department administrative services including Transitional Aged Care Programme (TACP), Dementia Advisory Service (DAS), Rapid Access to Care & Evaluation (RACE), Westmead Geriatric Medicine Offices (GMO) & the Aged Care Specialty Clinics (ACSC).
This position is an integral part of the Westmead Geriatric Medicine Department administrative/ clerical team & while based in the Seniors Assessment Services office, duties may occur anywhere within the larger Westmead Geriatric Medicine Department, as detailed above. The Aged Care Assessment Team (ACAT) has an office at Blacktown Hospital, which is included in the areas covered by this role.
