Accomodation Manager

About us - The Carrington Inn is a charming boutique Inn located in picturesque Bungendore NSW. We are seeking an experienced Accommodation Manager to oversee the smooth operation of our 26 - room establishment and associated activities. Our Inn boasts a rich history and a reputation for providing guests with a comfortable, relaxed and enjoyable stay.

Role Overview - Reporting to the General Manager, you will be the Inn's guest ambassador and the face of the Inn.  The Accommodation Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring that all guests experience a memorable stay at the Inn. Key responsibilities include,

• Guest booking and registration - Efficiently manage guest reservations and check-ins to provide a seamless arrival experience.
• Housekeeping and maintenance overview - Supervise housekeeping and maintenance staff to maintain high standards of cleanliness and upkeep through out the venue.
• Reservation, phone system and third party booking oversight - Manage RMS reservation software and phone system to facilitate smooth communications with guests at the Inn        

Other duties - Undertake any other duties necessary for the effective management of the venue.

Requirements

• Experience - Prior experience in a similar role within the hospitality or hotel industry. Experience with RMS reservation system is advantageous.
• Personal Attributes - Excellent personal appearance, friendly respectful and professional demeanour are highly valued.
• Skills- Strong time management, productivity and leadership skills are essential, along with a passion for delivering exceptional hospitality experiences. 
• Schedule- Roster is negotiable but typically involves a 38hr working week.
• Compensation- All hours worked and penalty rates are compensated.
