Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in driving digital transformation within an industry (e.g. Financial Services, Retail, Manufacturing, Healthcare, Energy, Government, Education) or equivalent experience in consulting or technology sectors.
- Experience engaging and managing relationships with CXO level stakeholders, cultivating strategic partnerships.
- Demonstrated experience growing market share, meeting sales targets, and collaborations with partners for optimal business results.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience with State Government regarded highly

The purpose of this role
Positioned within the Public Sector Government team, the Account Executive at Microsoft leads our most valued customers into the digital age. Embracing a challenger mindset, the successful Account Executive manages, orchestrates, and leads their virtual teams and closes opportunities with customers that produce transformative business outcomes.
- The Account Executive sets the strategy, drives action and progress towards strategic objectives and value realization, by solving for the customers business outcomes with multi-year goals.
- They bring innovation and ideas, creating new initiatives for business value through technology capability towards digital transformation.
- They own the trusted CXO level relationships and deep networks in business
The most successful Account Executives are resourceful, master orchestrators of virtual teams, and exceptionally curious to listen and learn from their customers. These attributes allow them to advise and elevate their customer's business.
