About the role:  

Europcar Australia has an exciting full time opportunity for a passionate and goal-orientated Account Executive SMEto join our experienced Commercial Sales team based in our Head Office located in Tullamarine, Victoria.

Reporting to the Head of Vehicle Replacement and Vans & Trucks Sales, this role is responsible for driving the development and expansion of SME Commercial vehicle revenues nationally while fostering long-term relationships.

Some of the key responsibilities include:

  • Develop trust with clients within the SME portfolio to ensure Europcar is the first go to point for new commercial rental opportunities or projects
  • Recognise new business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry; researching and analysing sales options 
  • Manage the delivery of existing and new business sales targets in your Commercial vehicle portfolio actively seeking out opportunities and converting to revenue
  • Cross-selling of passenger vehicles to ensure the maximum revenue is extracted out of every opportunity
  • Review and understand proposed pricing/product offering in line with Europcar required margins and compare to market offerings
  • Manage and progress a strong pipeline of key new business prospects, utilising Salesforce
  • Prepare professional tailored tender responses and presentations to secure new business
  • Develop strong branch relationships to be the ’go to’ for Commercial sales opportunities
  • Work closely with Marketing on the development of tactical campaigns, marketing collateral and product launches as required to boost our presence in the commercial and project sector
  • Form relevant relationships with local industry bodies and networks and attend trade shows and conferences where required to boost Europcar Mobility Group’s profile.

To be considered for this position you should possess: 

  • Commercial vehicle rental or sales experience preferred
  • Knowledge of local business landscape and commercial vehicle industry is highly advantageous
  • Proven track record in winning new and growing existing business 
  • Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM system (s) 
  • Computer literacy, advanced skills in Microsoft Office & Excel
  • Understanding of bid and tender process and principals 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to use these skills at all levels 
  • Strong project management, negotiation and conflict resolution skills 
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
