We are seeking a results-driven proactive Account Manager to join our team.
Reporting to the General Manager the successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing / developing existing business and turning prospects into satisfied repeat customers. We are seeking a results-driven proactive Account Manager to join our team. Reporting to the General Manager the successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing / developing existing business and turning prospects into satisfied repeat customers. Working for an established manufacturer provides the successful candidate with the support and flexibility required to succeed in the role.
Your duties will be varied and interesting, ranging from, but not limited to:
- Manage and develop existing customer base whilst hunting new sales through market research and cold calling.
- Increase market share and customer base selling the full suite of the Ausdeck product range.
- Meet performance goals and KPIs of monthly sales targets and customer satisfaction.
- Develop strong and reliable relationships with key clients, our customer service, and operations supervisors.
- Occasional 1-2 nights business travel required within NSW.
The successful candidate will be a proactive, tenacious go-getter who can think outside the box, with strong problem-solving skills.
Other skills and attributes required include:
- Proven track record in a similar role within the manufacturing industry
- Knowledge of Patios and Roofing industry preferred but not essential.
- Outstanding interpersonal and relationship-building skills – able to connect with people at all levels.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proactive approach to sales and lead generation.
- Achievement focused attitude with demonstrated success in exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- A high level of self-motivation, initiative, and proactivity.
- Skilled on computers and with general technology.
- Full driver’s licence.
