Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports
- Perform routine accounting tasks, including data entry and reconciliations
- Support senior accountants in tax planning and compliance activities
- Participate in audit activities and liaise with auditors as necessary
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial information
- Stay updated on relevant accounting standards and regulations
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (or nearing completion)
- Completion or nearing completion of CPA or CA
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial concepts
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- A proactive and self-motivated attitude
