AddressExpression of Interest - Accountant
We are looking for an Accountant to support business functions such as account analysis, auditing and financial statement analysis.
Duties:
- Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, tax plans and tax returns
- Accounts Payable and receivable
- Providing high-quality accounting, taxation, and advisory services to our clients
- Managing invoices, receiving and handling payments, and completing general bookkeeping duties include managing ledgers and performing account reconciliations
- Liaise with the ATO as required by clients and senior staff
- Manage client relationships
- Assist conducting internal and external audits such as wage reviews and inventory valuations to avoid any policy implementation violations or fraud
Desirable:
- A degree in accounting, finance or related field
- CA/CPA qualified (or Currently studying)
- Significant audit experience in a reputable firm
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and analytical skills
- A high level of attention to detail and quality
- A proactive, flexible and team-oriented approach
- Experience with XERO, MYOB and other accounting software
