We are currently seeking a results-driven and motivated Management Accountant to join our Finance team at our Head Office in Western Sydney.
Reporting to Group Financial Controller.
This is a permanent full-time position based in our head office in South Granville Sydney.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
In the newly created role of Management Accountant, you will be supporting the coordination and development of the annual budget and quarterly forecasts, preparing management reporting for use by Operational Leads, and working closely with stakeholders to encourage and ensure budget accountability and operational efficiencies across the business.
The role will include:
- Develop the annual budget & forecasting processes, working closely with all areas of the business.
- Financial Management & Reporting – Ownership of the month-end close process, including the preparation of monthly Group Consolidated financial reports.
- Analysing financial performance against budget/forecast.
- Providing commentary and analysis on major variances.
- Apply relevant analytical tools and techniques to effectively analyse and interpret a wide range of organizational data to support decision making.
- Develop dashboards, executive summaries, and dynamic reports to support financial goals and objectives.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Degree qualification in Business/Accounting or similar.
- Professional accounting membership (CA, CPA or similar)/working towards.
- High level proficiency with excel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- 3+ years’ experience in a similar role.
- A flexible, proactive and self-starter attitude along with the ability to work to deadlines.
