Accountant

A temporary Accountant is required for a membership organisation starting ASAP.

Your new company 

An opportunity has arisen to work for an established membership organisation in the CBD, starting ASAP. In this role you will support the Finance Manager for month and year end. A great place to work with hybrid working in place. 

Your new role 

In this role you will support:

• Accounts receivable, Accounts payable - reviewing AP invoices and generating invoices. 
• Assist with the month-end closure for both AP and AR. 
• Contribute to weekly bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations. 
• Work on month end closure activities including processing monthly journals. 
• Support year end activities including working with the auditors and end of year revenue recognition.
• Support the manager with any ad hoc duties as required.

What you'll need to succeed 

You will need to be a CA/ CPA qualified Accountant, ideally with a background in not-for-profit working for an all-round Accounting role, and can start immediately. TechnologyOne experience would be highly regarded to ensuring a smooth start with minimal training available. 

What you'll get in return 

You'll get a temporary contract starting asap, working closely with the Finance Manager you will support month and year end during a busy period of time. This role will also support and oversee AP & AR, therefore, you must be flexible and willing to get stuck in.
