We are looking for a motivated Accountant to join our team. This role is involved with financial reporting, budgeting, ensuring statutory compliance, management of our accounting system and providing financial information to management.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reporting to the General Manager, this is a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated professional ready for the next step in their career. As a key member of the Finance team, you will be responsible for the following:
- Accountable for all financial information sent to GM and Owners;
- Assist with Internal and External Audit Preparation;
- Prepare Annual budgets and monthly forecasting reports;
- Perform Hotel Payroll;
- Oversee day to day operational accounts; AP/AR;
- Responsible for month-end closing process and all financial reporting;
- Prepare Balance Sheet and Bank Account reconciliation;
- Initiate and maintain effective control procedures to ensure all assets; liabilities, income, and expenses are accurately recorded;
- Analyse and control expenditures of all departments to ensure compliance with budgetary requirements;
- Monitor and control cash flows statement of the property;
- Ensure all legal and tax compliance reporting is done within timeframe;
Your experience and skills should include:
- A degree in Finance or Accounting. CPA Qualification will be highly regarded;
- Proven experience in Hotel Accounts, AP/AR and Payroll systems;
- Understanding of both financial and operational aspects within Hotel;
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills;
- Hospitality Industry Experience is preferred;
- SAP & RoomMaster experience preferred;
- Proven leadership skills and a high sense of integrity.
