Currently in the process of finalising an IPO, the Group has undergone rapid expansion within multiple areas, with further expansion forecast for the foreseeable future.
Job Description
Reporting into the Financial Controller, the Accountant position will be responsible for end to end Accounting across multiple business entities.
On a day to day, this will include:

• Transactional accounting, such as Accounts Payable/Receivable and managing bank/credit card reconciliation processes.
• Generation and management of sales invoices, and reconciliation between sales and accounting system.
• Inventory management, including analysis of costs of goods sold reporting.
• Payroll - Weekly and monthly payroll processing for 10-15 employees.
• Financial reporting and month-end duties for multiple companies.
• Ad-hoc reporting as required by senior management.
• Budget vs Actuals and forecasting.
• Assisting senior management with developing processes and system improvements.
• Assisting with Audit process at year end time.

The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate will have a strong hands-on accounting background, as well as have completed their CA/CPA Qualification. You will be a driven and ambitious candidate who is looking to succeed within a high growth organisation.
Additionally, you will ideally have:

• Strong systems skills, including high-advanced level Microsoft Excel skills. MYOB or Xero experience desirable.
• Strong knowledge of transactional accounting processes.
• Extensive experience building excel and system based reports.
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact with a wide range of stakeholders.
• Experience with Inventory and Cost of Goods Sold (COGS).
• Ability to adapt to additional tasks and responsibilities.
