Job description

Our client, based in metropolitan Adelaide, specialises in the import and sale of stylish European designed Home Appliances. Their stock includes an extensive range of Cooktops, Ovens, Range hoods, Dishwashers, Microwave ovens, Laundry products, Refrigerators, Beverage and Wine Coolers, BBQ's and Alfresco products, and they are looking for a procurement manager to join their team.

The role will involve compliance-based financial reporting, auditing, and overseeing the accounting information systems, advising on record-keeping requirements.

This is an integral role in ensuring a company remains operating within budget and profitably.

The role includes and is not limited to the following;

  • Prepare company financial reports and analyse data collected
  • Generate financial reports that display the company's profits, equity, and cash flow
  • Summaries current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports.
  • Substantiates financial transactions by auditing documents.
  • Maintains accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.
  • Secures financial information by completing database backups.
  • Maintains financial security by following internal controls.
  • Prepares special financial reports by collecting, analysing, and summarizing account information and trends.
  • Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping financial information confidential.
  • Assisting the preparation of budgeting and forecasting reports
  • Examining and reconcile bank statements
  • Overseeing payroll and examining expenses
  • Review incoming payments from accounts receivable and outgoing payments from accounts payable
  • Perform any additional services regarding financial matters as directed by the management

The right person will be:

A People Person, Good at Networking, Excellent Written and Oral Communication Skills, Data Analysis, Superior Organisational Skills, Good Business Instincts, Mathematics Skills, Good Negotiator, Financial Analysis Skills, Understanding of Supply Chain Management Procedures, Logistics Skills, Strategic Planning Abilities.

Fluency in a second language would be highly regarded.

An attractive basic salary of $55,000-$65,000 per year + super is available for the successful applicant.
