About the Company
Latitude Accountants is an established accounting firm based in Sydney Olympic Park. Due to continued success and growth, we are looking to expand our team with an Accounting Manager based in our new Sydney Olympic Park Office. The position is well suited to a Chartered Accountant with experience in a management role and taxation.
About the Role
This is a full-time in office position, working 9am – 5:30 Monday to Friday.
Reporting to the Partner your duties will include,
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations,
- Prepare and file income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, trusts, companies, and self-managed superannuation funds accurately and on time,
- Prepare and file activity statements accurately and on time,
- Prepare and file FBT returns accurately and on time,
- Complete complex CGT calculations,
- Ensure timely payment of all clients tax debts,
- Develop and implement tax planning strategies to minimise tax liabilities and maximise financial efficiency,
- Stay up to date with changes in tax laws and regulations to proactively identify tax-saving opportunities.
- Prepare and analyse financial statements related to tax accounting, including income tax provisions, deferred tax assets/liabilities, and effective tax rate calculations.
- Communicate financial information effectively to stakeholders.
- Lead and mentor a team of tax professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance work culture within the tax accounting department.
- Manage a ledger of clients up to $1 million.
- Review work from junior and outsourced staff.
About you
- Bachelor degree in accounting
- CA Qualified
- 5+ years in tax accounting experience
- Experience using XPM and Xero (not essential but preferred)
- Tech savvy with experience in multiple software’s
- Results driven and fast learner
- Strong communication and stakeholder management,

- Strong analytical skills
