ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT
AmSpec is a market leader in independent inspection, testing, verification and specialized technical services to the Oil, Gas and Chemical sector (exploration, production, refining, storage, transportation) and to the Marine, Minerals and Agricultural sectors.
Position available:
Full time position based in our Fremantle head office.
Primary Responsibilities:
This roles primary purpose is to provide support to the Finance Manager.
Specific responsibilities:
- Assist with accounts receivable/payable
- Debt Collection
- Credit Card Reconciliation
- Bank accounts reconciliation
- Intercompany reconciliation
- Superannuation Payments
- Reconciliation of hours against payroll
- Asset register maintenance
- Cashflow and month end reporting
- Adhoc account/administrative duties
Essential Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year relevant professional experience
- Must be an Australian citizen or demonstrate the right to live and work in Australia
Required Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication – written and verbal
- Excellent planning, organising and time management skills
- Ability to work unsupervised, both individually and as part of a small team
- XERO experience desirable
- Advanced Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline (Desirable)
