Form of workNATA is looking for an enthusiastic and Accounts Officer to join our small Finance team in Rhodes. The Finance Department provides accounting, payroll, business reporting and analytics services to its internal clients and corporate responsibilities.
Reporting to the Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for the accounting, financial, and clerical functions for NATA and its subsidiary, Proficiency Testing Australia (PTA). Specifically you will ensure all financial transactions are processed and maintained completely and accurately on a timely basis while providing general administration and ad-hoc tasks to support the team including AR & AP.
The successful candidate will have:
- Strong attention to detail and level of accuracy while working in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise with a wide variety of stakeholders
- Intermediate skills in software programs including Excel and other Finance systems
- Ability to learn new systems
- Degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent (highly desired)
