About the role
As a key player in our Commercial Team, you will bring a familiarity with the commercial flooring and wall protection market. You will actively pursue new architects, end users and Transactional customers in conjunction with the Segment and Commercial Sales Team to deliver on key business objectives within the Commercial Business Plan.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end process of the commercial business plan in your territory ensuring timely execution within budget constraints and maximising after-sales opportunities.
- Build and sustain high value business with multiple clients including End Users, Facility Managers, Design and Construct Builders, Specifiers - predominantly in Education, Health, Sport, Retail and Industry.
- Manage and grow new and existing flooring contractor accounts.
- Coordinate sales forecasts to assist with profit projections and the Demand Planning process.
- Develop quarterly activities & KPI's, which will inform and drive your success.
- Maintain the CRM with accurate records and data to maximise project management and sales.
- Synthesise key market data within your territory to enhance and enable competitive strategic planning
About You
You are a passionate and driven individual with experience working within the flooring or interior finishings market. You have a successful track record of maintaining existing relationships while building new business with concrete financial results and above all, are positive, energetic and motivated to bring new ideas and add value to the business.
Technical Skills:
- 4+ years B2B sales experience in the flooring, manufacturing or building industry (preferred)
- Experience with CRM and ERP software – ie. MS Dynamics, MS Navision, and the MS Office Suite
- Experience with, and/or understanding of, working in a distribution environment.
- Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs.
- Bachelor in Business, Administration or Sales (preferred)
- Hold an unrestricted Drivers Licence
