Acquisitions Associate

Expanding their portfolio has opened up an exciting opportunity for an Acquisitions Associate to join their team to assist with the development and implementation of acquisitions, leasing and disposal strategies.

This role will see you responsible for the below

• Manage asset data and information, including lifecycle management and reporting, working with project teams.
• Managing leasing of strategic standalone and portfolio assets, including participating in lease negotiations.
• Preparing budgets and overseeing ongoing tracking and forecasting
• Working with in house and/or third-party property managers in the ongoing servicing of tenants.
• Lead due diligence and reviewing feasibilities studies on new development preparing detailed business case and investment recommendation reports for consideration by the Executive Committee.
• Evaluate and monitor of active project investment performance for reporting and further acquisition.
• Conduct complex financial modelling that might be required as part of strategic optimisation initiatives.  

To be successful you will have the below experience and qualifications:

• Tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Engineering, Finance, Economics, Legal or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years’ experience in a finance, advisory or a similar commercial role.
• Extensive experience in property finance and property valuation methodologies.
• Strong financial modelling skills.
• Ability to work in a high output environment and exceptional work ethic.
