Qualifications & experience
- Acting qualifications and experience
- Teaching and Acting Coaching experience.
- Experience in Musical Theatre
- Experience in coaching children from the ages of 8-16
- Working with children check required.
- Singing skills a plus
Tasks & responsibilities
- Liaising and taking guidance and instructions from the Director regarding the intention and direction of each scene for the School of Rock musical by Andrew Lloyd Webber, Glenn Slater and Julian Fellowes.
- Weekly one hour coaching every Tuesday (ideally 5:00pm- 6:00pm) during school term, with the main cast following a schedule of scenes rehearsals calendar for the year designed by the director, starting on March and finishing with the shows in the last week of November.
- Availability for the tech and dress rehearsal on Tue 12th, Wed 20th and Thu 21st of November from 12pm-6pm
- Availability for the shows on Fri 22nd of November 7pm-9pm, Sat 23rd of November from 3pm-5pm and Sun 24th of Nov 3pm-5pm
- Be kind and encouraging with the students and their families.
- Communicating with and reporting to the Director when needed
- Working positively in a team with the Director, the Choreographer and the School Staff and students communities.
