Internal Vacancy: Acting CSSD Supervisor
Are you ready to take your career to the next level? An exciting opportunity has opened up for a dynamic and experienced person to act up in the CSSD Supervisor role. This is your chance to play a key role in supporting the efficient and quality driven operation of our Central Sterile Services Department.
As a CSSD Supervisor, you will:
Assess Workflows: Maintain competency in all services and support/training CSSD staff during the implementation of new processes directed by the CSSD Manager.
Roster Management: Manage rostered breaks for the shift to optimize efficiency and ensure seamless service delivery.
Collaboration: Liaise with the Theatre Coordinator, Theatre Staff, CSSD Loan Kit Coordinator, and other stakeholders to ensure timely processing of equipment.
Issue Resolution: Collaborate with the Theatre Clinical Nurse and/or clinical specialty staff to resolve issues related to incomplete trays or missing instruments.
Statistical Accuracy: Ensure the accuracy and completion of daily and weekly statistics as required.
Equipment Maintenance: Ensure that all CSSD machines and equipment meet test parameters, and maintain appropriate records.
You must have previous experience in CSSD work, effective communication and interpersonal skills, able to show initiative and high attention to details as well as the ability to thrive in a quality-focused environment.
Hours
This position is 2 shifts per week.
