GreenLight are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Active Directory Specialist to join our dynamic team and play a key role in managing and optimizing our Active Directory environment.

Position Overview:
As an Active Directory Specialist, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and administration of our Active Directory infrastructure. You will work closely with IT team to ensure the reliability, security, and efficiency of directory services, supporting the organization's overall IT infrastructure and business operations.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and configure Active Directory environments, including forests, domains, trusts, group policies, and DNS infrastructure.
• Manage and maintain user accounts, groups, and permissions within Active Directory, ensuring proper access controls and security settings.
• Monitor and troubleshoot Active Directory replication, authentication, and performance issues, implementing solutions to optimize performance and minimize downtime.
• Extensive knowledge of and experience with Active Directory relating to: Management and best practices, Security Troubleshooting, Architecture, Backup and disaster recovery and Compliance to auditing requirements such as ISO standards, Essential 8.
• Plan and execute Active Directory migrations, upgrades, and domain consolidations, adhering to best practices and minimizing disruptions to business operations.
• In-depth knowledge of Active Directory architecture, including domains, forests, trusts, replication, group policies, and DNS.
• Hands-on experience with Active Directory migration tools and techniques, such as PowerShell scripting.
• Strong understanding of Windows Server operating systems, networking protocols, and security principles.

We’re after a senior resource to be able to assist with defining and guiding the implementation of our new Active Directory management standards, as well as working with supporting one of our largest customers inFed Gov.
