The Activities Program Leader is responsible for program delivery, development and review, program coordination including both group and individual activities.
About you
- Experience in the delivery of Activities Programs in an aged care, childcare, youth, event management or other relevant field.
- A passion for improving the life of others, with a focus on older members of our community.
- Highly organised, able to manage competing prioritise and deliver on time.
- Experience in the establishing and maintaining of beneficial key stakeholder relationships both internal and external.
- Sound administration skills including the use of the Microsoft 365 suite.
- Experience in the management of successful teams.
- A qualification in diversional therapy would be well regarded but is not essential.
- Hold a current Class C Drivers Licence
About the role
- Fulltime role working Monday to Friday.
- Responsible for all aspects of the Activities Program including program. development, budget management, review, coordination, and delivery.
- Assessment and evaluation of consumer wants and goals and active involvement in consumer care planning.
- Management of team members and volunteers.
- Work collaboratively with consumers, their families, clinical and care team members across all areas of our facility.
