Permanent full time role
Sydney, Melbourne, or Brisbane location
Your new role
QBE Insurance are currently seeking an Actuarial Manager to provide reserving support focusing on Liability and Financial lines products.
In this role you will be responsible for:
Development and execution of the end-to-end reserving process for Liability and Financial Lines products including all statutory deliverables.
Collaborating with the Claims, Underwriting, Finance and Business functions to provide actionable insights that will drive portfolio performance.
Oversee and execute uplift on the reserving platform to unlock efficiencies and improve grain of insights
Provide leadership and drive a performance culture in the team.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Relevant Actuarial qualification (Fellow)
Extensive general insurance reserving experience, preferably in long tail products.
Demonstrated stakeholder engagement skills with a strategic mindset
Ability to drive a high performance culture in a team with a mindset to constantly improve existing processes
