ADAS Diver

Commercial Marine Group (CMG) deliver a range of construction and occupational diving services, specialising in civil construction. Core projects include pile remediation and inspection services, but also extends to salvage, wharf/mooring maintenance, water asset & reservoir maintenance, scour protection and mooring services.

The CMG Team are seeking Divers with experience in subsea welding to support a major project in Port Kembla, NSW over the next twelve months. 

Ideally we would like to appoint Sydney-region locals, with the option for accommodation in Port Kembla should your daily commute be in excess of one hour. Hours are approx. 10hrs per day, Monday-Saturday. 

Divers from other locations can also apply, however at this stage we are not doing FIFO and Divers would be required to be on site a minimum duration of 6 weeks at a time for project continuity.

Divers will be coded on the job, and previous coded welders are encouraged to apply.

CMG considers commitment to safety and professionalism as core to its business activities, therefore, applicants must be able to demonstrate their commitment to same.

All applicants must hold current:

• Minimum ADAS Part III Diver qualification
• Commercial diving medical certification (AS2299)
• First aid and oxygen provider qualifications
• Construction Induction Safety Certificate (White Card)
• Drivers Licence

The successful applicant should be able to demonstrate experience in:

• A range of subsea construction works, specifically pile remedation and welding
• Worksite safety and adhering strictly to risk assessment and workplace health and safety guidelines
• Working in accordance with ADAS and government legislation (AS2299) related to commercial diving
• Maintaining commercial diving equipment
