The opportunity
We are recruiting for Admin & Accountant - Graduate, Junior level or Intermediate to join POSCO WA in a role where they will receive growth opportunities and the chance to work with a global leading company. The position would suit experienced professional but there is no limit for a competent applicant. You will report to management with a diverse range of tasks including treasury, taxation, project accounting and internal reporting etc.
Responsibilities
- Taxation – local tax preparation of IAS, BAS, FBT, payroll tax etc.
- Treasury – AP payment run processing, bank recon etc.
- Reporting to headquarters and external stakeholders
- Administration – market research, office management etc.
- Management accounting in mining project
Qualifications & experience
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- Solid commercial experience with CPA/CA qualification or working towards
- Advanced analytical and planning skills to manage financials
- Specialised knowledge – payment processing, financial accounting, IFRS, taxation law
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills both English and Korean
- Ability to excel in an investment environment with problem solving skills
- Proficient computer skills – MS office suites (excel, word and power point)
- Time management skills to get jobs done within agreed time frame.
- Strong attention to details, highly organised, accurate, proactive, honest, ethical and result-driven
- Be a good team player and responsible
