Job description

 King Truss is  a family owned business based Building supplies Business based on the Sunshine coast Servicing a Customer base that spans from Bundaberg to Ballina.

We are a growing business that is looking for a Self motivated and energetic person to fill the role of Internal Sales / Admin. This role requires someone who can be flexible and think on the go in what is a fast paced and energetic environment .

You will be the link between our customers, ourselves and our suppliers ensuring that documentation is correct, orders have been placed and all of our internal systems have been adhered to, With this role an attention to detail and a very high level of customer satisfaction is a must.

This role requires a high level of Phone and email etiquette and is best suited to someone who can consistently represent King Truss in a positive and helpful manner that purveys our commitment to a high quality product and service.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Experience and competence in  Purchasing and Internal Sales of Frame, Truss & Building Hardware is a must.
  • Recent experience within the Building, Construction or Manufacturing sectors will be highly regarded.
  • Excellent client relationship management skills with a strong emphasis on customer service.
  • Good numerical/math abilities are essential.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Highly motivated, committed, team focused and reliable - we want someone for the long-term
  • Proven ability to take ownership of the job and tasks, with demonstrated problem solving and time management skills.

YOUR DAY TO DAY ROLE 

  • You will be responsible for receiving Purchase orders / Building documentation and co-ordinating delivery Schedules.
  • subsequently, you will be required to order any special materials/floor systems that go with our jobs and make sure they are being delivered to sites at the correct date.
  • assisting with Purchasing of Stock.
  • you will be answering the phone and directing calls to the appropriate department.
  • monitoring and answering incoming emails.
  • support all staff and customers as required.
