Sea School International is an RTO providing recreational and commercial boating courses with several campuses across Australia. We are looking for an Administration Assistant for full time position (9am - 5pm Monday to Friday), reporting to the Business Manager and Director at our Head Office in Newport.
Job tasks:
- Support the Business Manager and administration in their role
- Telephone enquiries, referrals and follow up
- Student database administration
- Maintenance and support of student management and assessment software
- Document scanning, uploading, printing and collating
- General office operations including keeping the training rooms and office clean
- Coordinating student resources
- Data entry including processing learner questionnaires and outgoing mail
- Following up overdue invoices and taking payments
- Informing students of any updates on courses
Skills and experience:
- Attention to detail, accuracy and efficiency
- Excellent computer skills in Word, Excel and Powerpoint
- Initiative and problem solving
- Good communication skills
- Customer service skills
- Time management skills
- Knowledge of the marine industry would be advantageous
