About The Role
We are seeking a motivated and collaborative individual to provide administrative support. The ideal individual will have great interpersonal skills and will be keen to learn and develop their knowledge. Supporting the business owner and other Administrators within the business, the successful applicant will be accustomed to a fast paced environment where they will be expected to support with various ad hoc duties as required.
Responsibilities
Playing a key support role within the business your role will be varied and include but not be limited to:
- Answering incoming calls
- Managing any incoming and outgoing mail/emails (scanning incoming correspondence, preparing letters, mailing out letters, downloading client documentation etc.)
- Updating and maintaining internal databases
- Formatting documents
- Responding to queries from fellow employees and clients
- Extensive administrative support
- Bookkeeping tasks as required.
- Ad hoc duties as required.
Experience
- 2+ Years office bookkeeping experience
- QuickBooks/MYOB/QBO/Xero Handisoft proficiency
- 2 + Years administration experience
What you'll need to succeed
- Ability to work autonomously as well as within a team.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Exceptionally high attention to detail.
- Excellent ability to multitask.
- Strong data entry and data analysis skills.
- Computer literate to intermediate level including (MS office suite & internet)
- Excellent telephone manner, communication skills (both verbal and written) and customer service.
- Strong organization and administrative skills, including an ability to prioritise workloads, meet deadlines and manage a varied workload, in a busy professional environment.
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative in problem solving and in exercising judgment.
