The Southern Adelaide Local Health Network (SALHN) provide a range of Specialist and Outpatient Services across Flinders Medical Centre, Noarlunga Hospital and GP Plus Health Care Centres for patients within the Southern and greater Adelaide regions, as well as country and interstate patients.

About the Role:

As the Outpatients Administration Supervisor - Surgical Team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and effective operation of Outpatients Support Services. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Coordinating and supervising administrative staff in a dynamic environment, including roster management;
• Developing and implementing efficient work practices and procedures;
• Resolving, negotiating, and handling conflicts effectively;
• Demonstrating initiative, judgment, and adaptability in forward planning and high-pressure situations; and
• Handling confidential matters with discretion and integrity.

To be successful in this role, you will have: 

• Proven experience in healthcare administration, preferably in an outpatient setting,
• Strong leadership and team management skills,
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills,
• Proficiency in computer applications and healthcare management software.
