Join the Civmec Team

This is a great opportunity to join our Assets Team, based at our Henderson Facility. This role is permanent full-time.

The Role

The main duties of this position are:

  • Timesheet entry and submission for Plant Yard
  • Process and manage GRN's and Problem Invoices in a timely manner
  • Maintain Asset Master files
  • Process all on-hire & off-hire documentation ensuring all assets are correctly on-hired and charged to projects
  • Process all month end financial transactions
  • Process all approved Capex Requests including asset creation and financial reconciliation
  • Maintain Asset Rates Register and audit rates on a regular basis
  • Maintain Calibration and Certification Register
  • Ensure the timely entry of information into the relevant registers and software
  • Familiarisation of department plant, assets and operations for plant and equipment
  • Maintain company standards for Quality, Statutory and Legislative Assurance purposes
  • KPI's (at least 3):
  • 100% accuracy of Assets Registers
  • Enter all required information within one (1) working week
  • Escalate all issues in relation to delays to Coordinator/Supervisor within one (1) week

About You

To be successful in the role you will possess the following:

  • 1-3 years' generalist and financial administration
  • Previous administration experience within the construction field is highly desirable.
  • Computer literacy across the MS Office Suite
  • Advance excel skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • An excellent work ethic and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management and scheduling skills
  • The ability to build and maintain genuine working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work autonomously, be solutions orientated, employ initiative and prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Forward thinking and problem-solving skills.
