About the Opportunity
You will be an expert at providing great customer experiences. This role is a great pathway for a customer centric professional or HR professional looking to build and develop a career in People & Culture (P&C). In this role you will have the opportunity to gain exposure and network with P&C Professionals across the Department.
The successful candidate will be a natural people person, able to comfortably deal with a diverse range of customers.
About People & Culture
Within DCS, our three P&C Portfolios support over 13,000 + teammates working across multiple agencies who deliver on our vision to be the world's most customer-centric government. A typical day of work for you might include:
  • Providing an excellent customer experience over the phone in relation to HR enquires
  • Respond to a high volume of email enquiries and manage a shared mailbox
  • Provide a range of HR administrative services including human resource information system (HRIS) administration, data management and reporting
  • Respond promptly to customers with accurate information on a wide range of HR related enquiries
  • Upholding strict confidentiality standards in handling sensitive information
  • Identifying continuous improvement opportunities, enhancing our service delivery to improve customer satisfaction by assessing and updating methods, procedures and processes
  • Actively participate in projects across the team.

To be successful in this role you will possess a great blend of skills and experience, including:
  • Demonstrated experience in a customer service environment
  • A customer centric and people centric mindset
  • Sound written and verbal communication skills
  • Great organisational & time management skills
  • Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office suite. Experience in using HRIS / Payroll systems such as SAP HR would be advantageous
  • Enthusiasm, resilience, and energy to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong ethics and values that align to our customer service driven culture
