This position is for a highly skilled and motivated Advanced Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Registrar to join the Top End Mental Health, Alcohol and Other Drugs Service on a fixed-term, full-time basis. The successful candidate will provide advanced clinical services to patients, specialising in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.THE POSITION
This position is for a highly skilled and motivated Advanced Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Registrar to join the Top End Mental Health, Alcohol and Other Drugs Service on a fixed-term, full-time basis. The successful candidate will provide advanced clinical services to patients, specialising in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the psychiatric training program of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
Medical registration with the Medical Board of Australia and registration as a trainee with RANZCP.
Meet the requirements of the RANZCP for admission as a Training Registrar.
Demonstrated experience in teaching junior medical staff and other professionals.
Hold a current NT driver's license or the ability to obtain one.
Understanding of the role and function of inpatient and community-based, multi-disciplinary Mental Health Services.
Ability to interact effectively with people from diverse cultures.
Proven skills in the effective use of Information technology records for the efficient delivery of client services.
